Project Overview

Green Pond Landing and Event Center, the premier boating facility on Lake Hartwell, has provided nearly $100 million in economic impact since the first phase of construction was completed in 2014. With multiple Bassmaster Classic tournaments, as well as hundreds of local and regional tournaments, Green Pond Landing and Event Center continues to expand and implement future phases.

Blake Sanders and Tim Thomason provided initial master planning, landscape architecture, project and client management, construction documentation, and construction administration in 2012 as part of another firm. Studio Main continued that relationship as part of Studio Main and Spatial Planning Innovations in 2017-2021 with the design and construction documentation of Phase Two – Amphitheater, weigh-in road, ADA accessible floating docks, stormwater management close-out, and host (recreational vehicle) sites.
